RealWorkFromHomeJobs.com ("we", "our", "us") operates a curated remote-jobs board where employers post 100% remote positions and job seekers browse and apply. This policy explains what personal data we handle and how we look after it. If you have any questions, email [email protected].

2. What we collect

We only collect what we need to run the site. Specifically:

  • Employer accounts — when you sign up to post a job, we store your email address, a securely hashed password, your display name, and the job content you submit.
  • Payment data — paid job posts are processed by Lemon Squeezy, our Merchant of Record. They handle your card details on our behalf. We never see or store full card numbers; we only retain a transaction record (amount, plan, status).
  • Job seekers — we do not require an account to browse or apply to jobs. When you click "Apply" you are sent directly to the employer's site, and any data you give them is governed by their privacy policy, not ours.
  • Usage data — standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) for security and aggregate analytics. We do not sell this data.

3. How we use it

  • To operate, secure, and improve the website.
  • To moderate job posts and prevent fraud or spam.
  • To send transactional emails — account verification, password resets, post receipts, and notifications about your own listings. We will not send you unrelated marketing without your explicit opt-in.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

4. Cookies

We use a minimal set of cookies:

  • Authentication cookies — required to keep you logged in. Set only after you sign in.
  • Functional cookies — remember small preferences like search filters and pagination.

We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings — blocking auth cookies will sign you out.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers we use to run the site:

  • Neon (US) — hosts our database.
  • Lemon Squeezy (US) — processes payments as Merchant of Record and handles billing.
  • Vercel (US) — hosts the website.
  • Resend (US) — sends transactional emails when enabled.

We do not sell personal data. We share data with law enforcement only when required by a valid legal order.

6. Your rights

You can:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Correct anything inaccurate.
  • Delete your account and associated job posts.
  • Export your data.
  • Withdraw consent at any time.

7. Data retention

We keep employer account data while your account is active. Job posts are removed from public listings after they expire (60 days for Free, 60 for Featured, 90 for Premium) but we retain a copy for accounting and dispute resolution for up to 7 years. Closing your account triggers deletion of everything that isn't legally required.

8. Children

The site is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We will post updates on this page. Material changes will be announced by email to anyone with an account.
